CA Grizzly Diet Paper Published

A new research study published by the CA Grizzly Alliance's partner project, the CA Grizzly Research Network, showed that despite being cast as ferocious, meat-eating carnivores by early settler records, new analysis has shown that California grizzlies mostly eat a vegetarian diet and were no larger than bears found anywhere else in the lower 48.

The study was published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society Biological Sciences journal can be found here.
